Congratulations Rickey!

Rickey Henderson 1990

"If my uniform doesn't get dirty, I haven't done anything in the baseball game." - Rickey Henderson

I bet you first thought Leonardo Da Vinci drew this. You'd be wrong because it's actually drawn by me at age 13. Tricked you!

The burnt edges aren't for artistic embellishment, It was rescued from a house fire. But the burnt edges might be there to represent how fast Rickey is. Faster and smarter than Vince Coleman. And Rickey will always be The Greatest Lead Off Hitter OF ALL TIME. Rickey has baseball in every cell in his body and we need more of that today in an era where these so-called baseball players only care about the money and the home runs and the 'roid rages.

Congratulations to Rickey Henderson on the induction to the Baseball Hall Of Fame! Although I don't recognize an organization that makes Bert Blyleven WAIT, this is still a day to celebrate.

Rickey was an inspiration for my own life and art. He taught me that you should love what you do and that if you're going to do something, you should be the best at it. And, even if you're not the best at what you do, atleast you are having fun and breaking Stolen Base and Walk records.

I like the attention to detail on the Mizuno batting gloves.
