AMERICAN VIRGIN #19
Written by Steven Seagle; Pencils by Ryan Kelly; Inks by Jim Rugg; Cover by Celia Calle

Concluding the 5-part "Around the World." Paris: the city of lights…the city of love…the city of sex. And Adam Chamberlain has not one, not two, but three shocking revelations for the new woman in his life. One involves a question, one involves his future, and one involves changing the title of the book from American Virgin to something else.

Don't worry, this is still Becky's book. I'm just, y'know, loitering. I penciled the final chapter of this fabulous story arc. If you're a loyal American Virgin reader, you're in for some major surprises in this one. I tried to keep the energy and characters close to Becky's work but, y'know, it still kinda looks like my work. Jim Rugg inks, so sometimes it looks like his work. Crazy! I know I'm doing my job when reviews of the issues say "Becky's work is still going strong!" Uhh, look at the credits, people. She's back on issue #20, and I'm going to take a nap.
Really, I drew it, see , visual proof!....

American Virgin 18 Pencils

From American Virgin 18. I love posting these because they show that, yes, I can draw! I'm not just an inker!

In Stores This Week- Local #10 and American Virgin #18

It's a Super Double Team good week at the comic store for me as I have two books on the stands on Wednesday, August 29. So Go Get 'Em!--

Local #10
Written by Brian Wood Art by Ryan Kelly
The flipside to the previous issue of Local, this Austin, TX-based story tracks Megan's brother Matthew McKeenan, as he also reacts to the news of their parent's death. While Megan's journey was proactive, sentimental, and in the end, rather uplifting, Matthew's process is radically different, and possibly dangerous.

American Virgin #18
Written by Steven Seagle; Art by Ryan Kelly and Jim Rugg; Cover by Celia Calle

"Around the World" Part 4 of 5. Adam Chamberlain is having enough trouble trying to figure out what to do or not do with the opposite sex. So how does the third sex fit into the picture? In India, Vanessa makes a play to make time with the golden boy. Will temptation of the flesh win out?

American Virgin.19.01

I'm on American Virgin #19 and Adam and Vanessa are now in Paris. It's going to be tres bien.
